Fred Olivieri, a web developer on the ITS enterprise portal project, will be discussing dynamic UI functionality for web applications. By now, we’re all familiar with these UI interactions and we use things like calendar widgets, draggable page elements, dynamic tabs, and “accordions” all the time. Fred will give us a high-level understanding about building dynamic components and widgets, talk about popular frameworks, and answer our questions. Although there may be a few code samples, it won’t be a highly technical presentation and should be interesting for non-web developers. 🙂
