This Webmasters meeting featured a special guest, Assoc. Prof Laura Ruel from the School of Media and Journalism. Laura Ruel is a Hugh Morton Distinguished associate professor of design, user experience and interactive media for the school’s visual communication sequences. She also is the academic director for UNC’s Master of Arts in Technology and Communication degree program. She spoke to us about web usability testing on a shoestring, when there is no time or money and you don’t know where to begin.
